He felt called to this ministry about a year ago. He believes that the mission field is not just some far off place, it is right were the Lord has placed you. His original home is the Chicago land area where he was  born, and he lived part of his life in the city and then moved to the northwest suburbs and from there to the USAF and many different locations as duty called. He believes the Lord brought him to the Rochester area and Chaplain Lopez is looking forward to serving this community. (Joshua 24:15)
